Parent involvement is a vital element in the personality and culture of the Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School Debate Team. We thrive on parental involvement, and our parents thrive on being involved. The EHS Debate Team Parents Club is not a club you must join. However, our parents, through their contributions and volunteerism, are a foundational element for the success of the team.
Working together as an army of volunteers, EHS Debate Team Parents Club enhances every area of the debate program, including conducting team social events, providing car pool services, assisting in tournament hospitality and administration, and helping to raise funds to support the team. Through its many projects and endeavors, there are more than enough opportunities to find a place to use your talents.
The EHS Debate Team Parents Club looks for strong leaders as well as those who are more comfortable following; people with culinary talent and those who are good at crunching numbers; parents who love fundraising and those who would never ask for a dime. Whether it’s chairing a future competitions hosted at EHS, hosting a winter or spring social gathering, or helping coordinate car pooling, there is an important job always waiting for you at the EHS Debate Team Parents Club!
