On May 18, 2016, Zachary Mohamed and Fangwei Jin were invited to a special debate event held in the House Judiciary Committee chambers in the Rayburn Office Building on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Zach and Fangwei debated a recent piece of surveillance legislation titled “The Compliance with Court Orders Act of 2016”. This legislation dealt with government regulation of encryption technology.
